Our Lady of Lourdes and St Vincent de Paul is an austere modern church, built as part of an integrated complex of social centre and presbytery. The rather forbidding exterior belies a reposeful interior. The architect was Clive Broad and the builders were Truett & Steel. The church was built from white concrete blocks, with concrete and steel beams and the exterior of the complex consists of blocks of various heights, which are the only distinction between the different functions.
